Welcome to MDTA.
Mountain Dogs Training Academy is located in Soda Springs, ID and serves the Southeast Idaho region. MDTA offers private dog training lessons with the goal of helping you and your dog develop a lifelong bond. Many dog behaviors that are considered problematic stem from miscommunication between dog and handler. MDTA believes that the key to a fulfilling relationship lies in developing effective communication between you and your dog, and we wish to give you the tools to do so.
Having a well trained dog does not mean that your dog should be at a championship level of obedience. MDTA defines a well trained dog as one that has respect for its handler, behaves in changing situations, and is trained to a level that suits the dog and handler’s lifestyle and needs.
